A Notice to Our Valued Customers
This notice is given to you as an informative letter only. It is meant only
to give you valued information, so you will know what to expect from your
repair facility. It is to inform you of your rights as a consumer.
Preferred Collision Professionals takes pride in our reputation and
wants you to realize that we can restore your vehicle to its pre-loss condition.
We use nothing but the highest grade of paint and body materials, as well
as original equipment parts.
If the insurance company involved refuses to pay for original equipment parts
and other necessary operations which must be performed to guarantee
your repair, then we need to know from you, the vehicle owner, if you would
like your vehicle repaired to insurance standards or Preferred Collision
Professionals standards. If you opt for the insurance standard of repair,
please be aware that you may or may not be fully satisfied with the final
product.
As Si Simms states, "An educated consumer is the best consumer." We hope
that this information will help you in your search for "quality" collision
repairs.
As always, we will interact with the insurance company involved to attempt
to negotiate the highest possible standard of repair. We will always keep
you, our valued customer, informed as to what "standard" the insurance company
has allowed.
Remember, that you, the vehicle owner, have the ultimate choice of how
your automobile is repaired. We hope that this information will help
you in your decision.
With much freedom comes much responsibility. We must protect our freedom
through our being responsible.
You can learn more about aftermarket (non-original) equipment parts in
the Feb. 1999 issue of Consumer Reports.
